New data and scientific developments have led to changes in both our diagnostic and therapeutic abilities, and these advances have altered physician and patient expectations with regards to patient outcomes and satisfaction with treatment. Safety and efficacy issues regarding diagnostic and therapeutic modalities need to be critically evaluated before implementation. Proper patient selection and clinician-‐patient communication is imperative in the management and potential clinical outcomes of various dermatologic conditions in both medical and cosmetic dermatology.
This activity is planned to meet the needs of dermatologic nurse practitioners and physician assistants.
Prerequisite: Must be an NP or PA currently practicing in the dermatology field.
